With over 325,000 customers, Newcastle Permanent (NPBS) wished to deliver an industry-leading mobile banking experience to provide customers with a frictionless digital experience. NPBS wished to reimagine, re-design, develop, and deliver a mobile banking application that serves current customers and attracts new customers both now and into the future.
We were engaged to lead design, development and integrations to replace NPBS' legacy mobile app using a modern UX Design and Mobile technology. Implementation of modern features included comprehensive mobile banking functionality with security and usability as top priorities.
Our contribution included Mobile Application Delivery Approach and experienced services/personnel, Technical leadership including setup patterns and practices for best-in-class applications, Mobile DevOps/Automated Approaches, OSKO & BPAY payment integration, enriched transactions, and Security implementations (encrypted payloads/fields, sessions IDs from different backend servers). Additionally, we provided internal training, upskilling of NPBS team, implementation of best practices on Security, Project management & implementation and Technical Design consultancy.
